How to report someone on Donut

If something happens during or after a live conversation, Donut gives you ways to report it so our team can review and take appropriate action.

Report during Go Live

If something happens while you are live with someone, use the in-session reporting option before or after leaving the conversation.

Report from History

Open History to view people you went live with, visit their profile, and submit a report from there.

Team review

Our team reviews submissions and takes appropriate action based on the report and available context.

Report During a Live Session

  • Use the report option during a Go Live conversation if someone is abusive, threatening, sexual, hateful, deceptive, or otherwise unsafe.
  • Leave the session if you feel uncomfortable. Your safety and comfort come first.
  • Submit as much helpful context as you can so the Donut team can review the situation.

Report Someone After a Live Session

  • Open the History app inside Donut.
  • Find the person you went live with.
  • Open their profile.
  • Use the report option on their profile to submit your concern.
  • Our team will review the submission and take the appropriate action.

What to Report

  • Harassment, bullying, hate, threats, or intimidation.
  • Sexual behavior, nudity, or pressure for inappropriate content.
  • Scams, requests for money, suspicious links, or impersonation.
  • Attempts to collect private information such as your address, phone number, login codes, or financial details.
  • Any behavior that makes Donut feel unsafe or unfriendly.
